Demelza Hospice Care for Children is a charity providing hospice services for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and support for their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.

We seek individuals with experience of working with children and with an NVQ L2 in a care related subject, to join our busy multi-disciplinary hospice team.

You must be able to show a ‘can do’ approach in a busy team environment with the ability to constantly prioritise and innovate to meet the needs of the children, young people and families.

Experience of working with children with disabilities or complex needs, you will have the ability to effectively implement care plans to deliver high quality delegated, holistic care to children, young people and provide support for their families.

You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Safeguarding with the ability to recognise and report concerns effectively.

You will have a flexible approach to working, this role will include working a full shift pattern to include, earlies, lates, long days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
