Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Temp - Perm

Our client based in Lenham Kent has an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer on Days to join their well established manufacturing company.

Responsibilities and tasks will vary but the position will typically be:

- Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
- Diagnosing electrical breakdown problems and carrying out quality inspections on jobs
- Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
- Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
- Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
- Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs;
- Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.

An NVQ / HNC or equivalent in electrical maintenance is essential and any previous experience in a plastic manufacturing environment would be a bonus.

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Benefits include holiday pay and pension options available. The position is a 12 week temp - perm position and for the successful candidate being taken on permanent you would be offered a permanent salary.

Own transport would be preferred due to site location.
