Part Time Warehouse Assistant Job Description
The warehouse assistant will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and will support the Team with the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse.
Main duties include:
- Picking and packing orders from our Salons and online website
- Stock auditing / stock control via the ADSN stock system (Microsoft Access)
- Communicating with the Team to resolve any order queries
- Receiving and putting away large deliveries
- Moving stock by hand or using a pump truck
- Keeping paperwork up to date and accurate
- Keeping the warehouse tidy and keeping equipment hygienic
- Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures are followed, at all times
- Participating in meetings with the stock room and admin teams
- Preparing the warehouse for deliveries
- Checking off deliveries and orders accurately and efficiently
- Labelling parcels for the couriers and checking these are verified against the ‘FedEx UPS List’
