Position Expectations
The Key objectives of this role will be to continually improve primary and secondary packaging as part of the Quality team, assist Production and Manufacturing in achieving their quality objectives. Identify non-conforming product through performance and measurement. Create and maintain reports for monitoring in order to satisfy regulatory requirements.
Candidates must possess proven experience with problem solving tools, 5 Whys, Cu sums, Pareto, Cause and Affect Analysis (Fish Bone). Have the ability to read technical drawings and communicate information. Ideally qualified or having served an apprenticeship within Engineering Manufacturing Environment and experience of working within a Pharmaceutical industry would be a distinct advantage.

Key Areas of responsibility
• Interact and liaison with Production staff when required.
• Work with Shopfloor management and engineering teams to support or lead process or product investigations.
• Assist in any improvement changes and ensure these are followed through with supporting documentation.
• Keep up to date with current performance and attend Shopfloor meetings when required.
• Operate measurement equipment and assist with developing new inspection methods
• Where appropriate use software packages for analyzing data.
• Report to the Operations Quality Leader on a daily basis, ensuring he remains up to date with any quality issues requiring attention.
• Assist with supplier complaints and ensure a robust resolution has been achieved.
• Create and execute Component test protocols as needed, relating to primary/secondary packaging, including Bottles, Closures, Cartons and Labels.
