Junior eCommerce Manager

My client is looking for a Junior eCommerce Manager to help with the ongoing development and evolution of our website.

Reporting into the Head of eCommerce, you will be keen and enthusiastic, looking to develop and maximise the potential of our website through analysis and a commercial focus. You'll be able to help deliver on key projects and make a real difference to both customer experience and the business overall.

You will primarily be responsible for interpreting business needs, specification of each change request and overseeing our Indian programmer's execution of these changes for our website with help and assistance from the Head of eCommerce.

Depending on your strengths and interests there will be other opportunities to become involved in Digital Marketing. You will be keen to demonstrate your ability and drive to assist the ecommerce team in tackling a range of opportunities that arise on a daily basis. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be actively supporting the business IT needs in the office, including procurement and installation of hardware and software.

Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, you will be responsible for:

* Identifying priorities and overseeing the technical development of the site (through outsourced IT agency).
* Providing an overview of projects, reporting on progress, anomalies and/or areas of concern
* Working with the Customer Services team, encourage and use feedback to improve all stages of the customer experience
* Use Google Analytics to help maximise sales and improve customer experience

In addition you will be responsible for:

* Ad hoc assistance on improving the user experience, including optimisation of onsite search
* Supporting the business' IT infrastructure, identifying and rectifying network outages and ensuring the smooth running of the business' PCs.
* Supporting the Head of eCommerce with digital marketing optimisations and reporting
* Helping the business to identifying new technologies to either drive efficiencies or provide value to our business proposition.


Skills/Experience:

* An IT based degree including some experience of .NET MVC and SQLServer is essential
* Ability to work with a customer driven focus
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Some work experience in an eCommerce environment is desirable but not essential
* A familiarity with local IT networks and Windows operating systems is desirable but not essential.
* Good knowledge of Excel would be beneficial

Own transport and reasonable proximity to Biggin Hill is important.
