We are looking for a motivated, adaptable and diligent individual for this role. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and strong team worker who is hard working, with excellent attention to detail and who enjoys giving that extra bit to complete their workload effectively and to given deadlines. The person needs to be result-oriented and able to adapt to fast changing environments.

This challenging role primarily provides second and third line support for all CAF production systems across a wide range of platforms and technologies in line with agreed processes and procedures. The role will also ensure that those services provided are delivered within the required SLA’s.
The primary function of the role will be to take Lead responsibility for all SQL reporting development and related data - including availability and issue management.
This role will also be responsible for the specification, design and implementation of SQL Reporting and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes, utilising skills in SSIS, SSRS and T-SQL.
In addition the role includes responsibilities and accountability for Database administration and maintenance tasks including capacity planning, security and integrity planning, index generation, performance tuning and any other associated administration processes
When required the role will be part of the Incident Management and Problem Management processes for diagnostic and resolution purposes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effective management of theirs and their team’s workloads providing mentoring and development to the team members.
This is a technical role whereby you will be expected to resolve issues yourself as well as with other members of the team. It is ideally suited to a person who relishes a challenge and enjoys the reward of delivering a first class service to both internal and external customers.
