Civil Engineer

Based in Dover

Up to £40,000 + pension + discretionary bonus scheme


Our well known, established client is seeking a Civil Engineer to join them. Based in Dover, this is a fantastic opportunity to join growing organisation.


About the Civil Engineer

You will work within the Engineering Division assisting the Team Leader in the project management, design and supervision of new engineering works.

Key duties include:

* Preparing designs, contracts, specifications, drawings, risk and environmental assessments
* Managing activities to ensure contractual compliance
* Liaising with architects, consultants and quantity surveyors
* Assessing contractors, consultants and suppliers against safety and quality competency criteria



Requirements:

* Experience of civil engineering design
* BSc or MSc Civil Engineering
* Experience of project management of civil engineering projects
* Ideally an understanding of CDM Regulations and NEC3 contracts
