An excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a rapidly expanding construction services group. You will be managing the daily transactions and procedures to enable the company to operate efficiently.

The Bookkeeper role will initially be very hands-on with you processing sales and purchase invoices, reconciling income from a number of sources and making payments to suppliers. From here you will be able to reconcile the bank; produce accounts to trial balance stage and provide management information to enable decision making. The role will also involve the production of VAT returns with forecasting of VAT liability.

The company currently outsources it payroll and CIS management, so at this stage it will not form part of your role.

The main accounts package used is Sage and is essential that you have a comprehensive knowledge of this system. Previous experience working as a Bookkeeper is required. You will be working closely with the company’s firm of Accountants.

There is significant scope for development of this Bookkeeper position as the company continues its growth.
