BHD Architects LLP have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer to join our well-established and friendly practice. We have a varied portfolio of projects both in the high end residential and commercial sectors.

The successful candidate is required to help mentor the small existing design team and oversee projects from conception to completion. As this is a fairly new department within the company we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and creative individual to take the team forward and act to inspire and lead. We are looking for experience in interior design as well as working on interior architecture projects.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
• 7 years + experience as an Interior Designer (Degree in Interior Design or Architecture)
• A varied portfolio that includes residential, hotel and commercial
• Excellent organisational and budgeting skills
• Act as a mentor and leader to the design team, conducting internal design meetings and oversee projects throughout all stages
• Excellent communication skills, candidate will need to give presentation to clients, liaise with suppliers and lead installation team on site
• Produce design concepts, proposals, mood boards and estimates
• Research proposed products & materials, sort and pick accessories, style & dress projects to a show home standard.
• Preferable Estimac/EstiPC experience
• Strong AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, InDesign and Photoshop knowledge

What we can offer – our offices are located very near to Sevenoaks station (5 minute walk) and we therefore have excellent transport links to London and the South East. Our package includes a salary in the range of £35,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience), 22 days holiday (rising to 25 days), Kiddivouchers and free parking for all staff.
