Bell Publishing is looking for a bright, motivated and organised Digital Editor to work across five websites for its international food and packaging related magazine titles.

With incredible attention to detail and initiative, you will have 1-2 years’ experience in an editorial web-based role. You will be responsible for uploading daily content and keeping the websites fresh and current. You will also send out five weekly e-newsletters, manage the social media accounts for each title, and report to senior managers on analytics.
Located in the Editorial Department, this is an editorially-based role and you will work closely with the editors on each magazine. Working across a range of titles means you will have excellent organizational and time-management skills and will be able to stay calm under pressure. Ideally you will have a good grasp of Google Analytics and SEO, and good writing and proof-reading skills. There is also the opportunity for travel (UK and abroad), reporting and feature writing.

Tasks include:
Writing and editing web content.
Sourcing and uploading images.
Engaging with followers across the social media (Twitter and LinkedIn) answering comments, moderating posts, generating discussion topics etc.
Liaising closely with editorial and sales teams.
Monitoring and reporting on web traffic analytics and newsletter statistics. Implementing SEO.
Maintaining newsletter contact lists.
Uploading content to newsletter software.
Generating ideas both editorially and commercially to increase web traffic and revenue across the sites.

Knowledge of Wordpress and Adestra MessageFocus an advantage but not essential. This is a full time, office-based role and you must live within commuting distance of Gravesend. Please send covering letter and CV to sarah@bellpublishing.com
