Our well established client is seeking a Production Controller/Foreman to fulfill the role of a works operative who is able to function as part of the production team. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate manufacture of the company’s timber based engineered construction products.

All aspects of the manufacturing procedures will be controlled by you, coordinating the following elements of the current processes:
• Managing the production work force ensuring that they comply with company rules and requirements and ensuring they carry out their roles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Goods inward – unloading and storage, material movement around the site.
• Picking products as required, Arranging sequencing of materials to and from milling shops, and to production stations.
• Allocation and sequencing personnel to work stations.
• Supervising and mentoring the production operatives and section foremen. Determining work flow and processing same to meet customer requirements and internal targets.
• Control of replacement material requirements and waste.
It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to bring efficiency to the business and introducing improved work flow procedures and/or ideas.
