The Adolescent Support Team (AST) West have a proven track record supporting families remain together where safe and possible to do so. A unique opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practitioner position within the Adolescent Support Team West Kent.

You will be joining an experienced and established Social Work Team, supporting qualified Social Workers, Social Work Assistants, and the Team Manager as part of your role. The role will enable you to provide support and advice to other team members and will enhance your ability to develop interventions skills, analysis, expertise for a wide range of practice issues, and to be able to provide consultation, coaching and mentoring within the team.

The Senior Practitioner will be primarily responsible for the direct provision of quality social work services to children and families. The role would be suitable for an experienced Social Worker who wishes be part of a dynamic team of professionals. As part of your role, you will gain knowledge and experience working with challenging families, using a number of approaches suited to the role. You will have access to bespoke training offered within the team, and also through the AST service.
