The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a number of well established Kent based Removal companies and looking for Removal Drivers/Porters.

Our clients are looking for candidates due to their ongoing growth and expansion. We are looking for reliable Removal Drivers, Class 2, 3.5T (Van) Drivers and also 7.5T Drivers.

Full training is offered and ongoing support, including opportunities to progress to HGV Driving for those who are seeking a Driving career.

Removal crews are responsible for providing customers with a great move experience at what is likely to be a stressful time for them and so the job involves not only the physical activities of packing, loading, driving and unloading but also most importantly customer care.

Key Requirements are:
Experience in the Removals industry or similar would be an advantage
Excellent customer service and team work skills
You must be reliable, have great timekeeping and be able to work unsociable hours
You must also be smart in appearance (uniform and PPE equipment will be provided)
You must have good level of English and Maths and be able to communicate clearly and calmly with customers and Crew members

Be able to safely move customer’s furniture and personal items including lifting and manual handling, packing and unpacking items, wrapping and packing furniture, loading and unloading vehicles and disassembling and reassembling household goods as required

Experience in Driving Class 2, 3.5T or 7.5T vehicles.
Class 2 & 7.5T Drivers must have a clean licence, up to date CPC, digi tacho card.
Van drivers must be have a min of 1 years driving experience.

Shifts are Monday to Friday and start and finish times may vary depending on the job, some occasional Saturdays are required. Working over 9 hours per day will include overtime.
Weekly pay & 28 days holiday
Suitable candidates will be taken on full time.
