Position: Trainee Estimator
Location: Aylesford, Kent
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Leay, a leader in Design, supply and installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows, doors, are currently recruiting for an Experienced Estimator to be based out of our offices in Aylesford, Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market leader within the industry for over 80 years in business. You will be working in a friendly team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with competitive quotes from tender enquires.
• Price projects from bill of quantities, specifications, schedules and drawings.
• Carry out detailed take offs from drawings and schedules.
• Liaise with clients, supplier and manufactures to provide the most competitive cost on a particular project.
• Carry out any general admin as required with position.
• Liaise with designers to ensure what is what is being drawn has been accurately costed.
• Full training will be provide for this position

Candidates should have IT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good communication skills, both spoken and written.

Position: Trainee/Draught Person
Location: Aylesford, Kent
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Leay Limited, a leader in supply and installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows, doors, are currently recruiting for a Draught person to be based at our offices in Aylesford, Kent.

Draught Person Responsibilities

Draw technical, elevations, schedule drawings using latest AutoCAD software.
Liaise with architects during projects with drawing approval and construction stage.
Advantage of understanding Kawneer or Metal Technology aluminium profile systems.
Advantage of any construction related experience.
Relevant experience in Cutting walling or cladding systems.
Be able to read and understand construction technical CAD drawings.
Be flexible with working hours on occasion to assist meeting deadlines.
Have previous experience in drawing office environment using CAD software.
