Are you looking for a new opportunity in Customer Services? We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent customer service skills to join the Watts Farms team based in Dartford.

Watts Farms is a family run business which covers 10 sites in Kent, Essex and Bedfordshire with more than 350 employees. This role is based within the Food Service division of the business, which supplies over 500 restaurants with produce in the South East and London region.

What does the job involve?

The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Advisor is to manage customer communications and provide an excellent service to potential, new and existing customers. The successful candidate will receive customer orders, enquiries and concerns, and ensure callers are greeted in a friendly, courteous and professional manner at all times.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

• Process customer orders via telephone and email in a timely and accurate manner
• Answer incoming calls and handle queries via telephone and email
• Offer new products, services, promotions and solutions to our customers
• Perform administrative duties such as updating customer accounts, and producing delivery notes and invoices
• Review the error report and report errors
• Deal with customer issues in a professional and courteous manner

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and must be fluent in spoken and written English. As well as being self-motivated and helpful with meticulous attention to detail, you must also be able to remain calm under pressure and build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers. You must have 5 GCSES A-C (including English) and be computer literate. Experience working in a Customer Services role and using in-house systems would be an advantage.

What are we offering you?

Salary - £18,000 per annum. Your salary will increase after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.

Working hours – Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm. You will also be required to work Saturday, 8am – 12pm on a rota 1 in 4. Flexibility maybe required to cover holidays and sickness.

Holiday – 31 days (inclusive of bank holidays)
