Bilingual Bond Manager

Interesting role within a successful and expanding global organisation seeking a Bond Manager to develop its activity and portfolio through its 1000+ brokers' network based in France.

This role carries a competitive basic salary and first class benefits including a generous pension scheme as well as offering career growth and enhancement.

This position could be based in either West Kent or Paris and your role will be to develop and expand the bond portfolio and provide a first-class underwriting and customer service to their Brokers' network and partners whilst working in tandem with other departments and supporting the Company's sales representatives. You will evaluate the risks through thorough financial analysis and your main responsibilities will be:-

- Underwriting new and existing business, including analysis and compilation of data for referral.-

- Decision making following underwriting legislation

-Financial analysis of cases and advising on the proposed financing:

- Managing the team.

- Providing expert advice to sales representatives and supporting them to boost sales by delivering clear processes, communication and analysis.

- Visiting brokers to maintain relationships.

- Managing and developing accounts profitability, including helping to embed new deals and arrangements.

- Actively supporting the audit process to maintain underwriting integrity.

- Managing claims and negotiating rates.

- Monthly reporting to the Executive committee and Insurers.

- Participating in discussions about new tools implementation and recommendation

You will ideally have a Master's in Finance, Economy, Accounting or Insurance or equivalent and have 2 years experience in a similar role; or alternatively within a banking environment.

A good knowledge of French, construction insurance and risk analysis are ideal for the role as are autonomy and effective communication skills.
