JOB PROFILE: Finance Associate REPORTS TO: Finance Analyst
JOB TITLE: Finance Analyst Assistant
Purpose Statement
The Finance Analyst Assistant is responsible for supporting the Finance Analyst and the Head of Finance in enabling the company management team to make sound commercial decisions based on financial information.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

- Report daily and weekly sales results to the management team identifying key variances
- Set up and review of customer rebate accruals and payments
- To work with central rebates and credit control teams and maintain processes and relationships
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist in the preparation and review of P&L and balance sheet reports

- Report and monitor the division`s key performance indicators; sales, profitability ratios, and investigating variances to budget or year on year movements
- To develop and maintain a good knowledge of company processes and procedures
- To apply accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including the production of journals, routine reports and variance analysis
- To analyse financial information in response to queries from stakeholders
- To plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the departments monthly and process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
- To input accounting data into the SAP with speed and accuracy
- To create, develop and maintain accounting spreadsheets used in the Finance function
- To maintain departmental systems

- Ideally be studying or looking to study (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) and looking to take the next step in their career

- Intermediate plus excel skills

Desirable:
Knowledge of SAP
