It’s an exciting time for our Procurement Team, traditionally more focussed on procurement activities for our IT services, we’re now rolling out new 3rd Party Management procedures across the Bank.
Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you’ll ensure requirements are thoroughly researched; vendors are onboarded following appropriate due diligence and governance; cost and process efficiencies are identified and secured in robust contracts.
Acting as a mentor, you’ll also support the development of the rest of the team to continually improve their skills and the value they add to the business.
What we’re looking for
• You’ll use your extensive experience in Procurement and contract negotiation to ensure the best possible service and value
• It would be really advantageous if you have, or are studying for, a CIPS qualification
• Someone with experience of manage and inspiring teams
• Experience of building business cases through the use of analysis and MI
• Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and fully engage with suppliers will prove invaluable to your success
