CMS is recruiting for Domiciliary Care Workers on behalf of a registered care company in Dover for a rate of £8.00 per hour + 15p per mile mileage allowance. Sundays and bank holidays will be at a rate of £9.00 per hour.

The care company itself is based in Dover, but as well as Dover there is work available in Deal, Folkestone and Sandwich. The company is well established and provides full training and support to all staff, and the opportunity to go from temp to perm for those looking for greater stability.

As a Carer you will follow the instructions in the care and support plans which have been agreed for each customer.

Duties may include:

• Respite Care

• Palliative Care

• All aspects of personal care

• Laundry and Ironing

• Meal preparation

• Shopping trips accompanied / unaccompanied

• Prescription collection

• Assistance with medication

• Domestic Services.

We are looking for responsible, compassionate, flexible individuals who would be interested in a career in Social Care, with an NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. Own transport is essential as the job will involve travelling. Previous experience in domiciliary care would be beneficial but is not essential as all training will be provided. Applicants must be available to work flexible hours. Successful candidates will be required to have an enhanced DBS check
