Position Overview

Working within a contract renewals administration team for a global company, you will be working a small team that form an integral part of a much larger global organisation. The team is part of a Multi lingual office based in West Malling where at least half of the 50 staff speak at least one European language in addition to English.

You will be responsible for the review and processing, all assigned maintenance renewal contracts.
Processing of renewals includes these key steps:
• the preparation of renewal data before it is presented to the customer
• confirming the renewal data is accurate per contracted terms and licensed products
• validating correct ‘bill to’ name and address
• validating applicable partner information
• determination of any relevant co-terming opportunities (aligning end dates to reduce number of renewals each year)

Job Responsibilities

The RDA (Renewal Data Administrator) will follow the documented Process, a step-by-step set of activities that are required to be performed for every customer renewal. Once completed, the RDA will submit the report for processing.
This activity is an important and critical piece of the overall Renewal Process, and ensures the following

• Accuracy of the financial and contractual data for maintenance renewals;
• Timeliness of renewal activities to ultimately have an expected and consistent cash flow
• Accuracy and complete maintenance renewal data presented to the customer

The Successful candidate is likely to have

Education and Experience

• University graduate with degree or equivalent years of experience in Finance, Business Management or Accounting, or solid experience performing similar tasks in a previous job
• Experience in a customer service/billing systems and/or contracts team

Required Skills

Must have: ** Fluency in German to a commercial level **
• Strong skills in decision making
• Good communication skills; written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Proven customer service orientation
• Good skills to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
• Capability to be responsive, follow-up in a timely manner, and meet commitments.
• Ability to read and understand software license and maintenance contracts
• Strong Excel skills including formulas
• Highly numerate

**Please be aware this is a Maternity contract but it is possible that an alternative permanent position would come available during the length of the contract **
