We are recruiting for a skilled assembly technician in the Special Applications Department for our well established client based in Dartford

The ideal applicant would:-

• Have a good understanding of electrical/mechanical specifications and the ability to understand and work from schematic diagrams.

• Be familiar with basic assembly techniques.
(including: anti-static awareness, soldering, crimping, spiral wrapping)

• Be versatile to use a range of hand tools.
(including: screwing, drilling, tapping, etc)

• Have experience in creating a custom pin-board, from scratch, to make a wiring harness from electrical and general arrangement drawings.

• Be willing to learn new assembly techniques using a variety of equipment.

• Practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

• Have good problem solving and team working skills. Also be able to work under own initiative.

• Preferably have gained experience through a similar role.
