SOUS CHEF - £24-26,000 – independent pub –

A traditional British pub with a popular bar and restaurant. This independent inn has plenty of charm and character and due to their continued success they are looking for a talented Sous Chef to strengthen the team.

With a brigade of 4 chefs they prepare British themed menus with some International influences and everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce. They would not describe themseleves as a gastro pub but pride themselves on serving fresh, seasonal menus that utilise as much local produce as possible.

As Sous Chef you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen and have full responsibility in the Head Chefs absence. Your duties will include menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, staff training and ensuring you maintain all health, hygiene and safety procedures.
