Steelworks Senior Project Manager

RSFL are now recruiting for an Experienced Steelworks Senior Project Manager for a market leading provider of structural steelwork, steel fabrications and architectural metalwork. This is an ideal opportunity for a very experienced and ambitious professional to prove themselves and progress to Directorship level in the near future.

All About the Role!
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead, control and direct a team to ensure the timely delivery of a varied range of bespoke fabricated metalwork products.
Your role will also include involvement in tendering, client liaison, design and value engineering in addition to standard contract management practices
Contracts are primarily on the Network Rail and London Underground Networks and can vary up to several million pounds each
You will be required to promote the company at all levels and establish new relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to develop and expand the business long term
Therefore some business development or marketing experience would be an advantage

All About you!

Experienced in all aspects of the construction steelwork industry
Experienced in running multiple projects to the highest level of quality
Network Rail and London Underground project management experience would be beneficial
Excellent people management and communication skills - A good team player
Detailed knowledge of Construction Contracts, particularly ICE, JCT & NEC 3
Ability to undertake contract programming, QS functions and cost management
Excellent computer literacy skills required, with a working knowledge of AutoCad
Good working knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards and systems
Own Transport essential
Live in close area ideally South East Kent

The position is based in the area of Swale and there will be a need for regular visits to London and throughout the South East.
