Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Release Analyst to join a FTSE100, industry leading organisation, offering superb opportunities to develop and progress your career.
Job Description:
Working within a diverse Technology Services Department, The Release Analyst will support the execution of Release Management processes, liaising with internal teams and 3rd party suppliers to coordinate, review and approve releases in order to protect the integrity and stability of the groups services.

Responsibilities:
-Support execution of Release Management processes:
-Support the release manager in the development of release plans and scheduling
-Review release plans and deliverables against agreed criteria, processes and standards
-Maintain and monitor progress on changes, issues, risks and deviations.
-Creating reports for stakeholders and governance forums to enable effective decision making
-Develop and publish communications plans and materials e.g. related to releases and schedules
-Support the coordination and facilitation of training, communication and the deployment of release packages into production
-Record and analyse process metrics to report on performance and contribute to identification of improvements
-Contribute to Early Life support process
-Contribute to reviews of Service Transition processes and post implementation reviews.
-Provide education, guidance, support, to ensure adoption of and adherence to Release Management processes.
-Identify opportunities for improving service operations processes to drive cost and process efficiencies.
-As a member of the wider operations team; you will support operational priorities and assist other teams across the department where required. There may also be a requirement for business related travel.
-From time to time non-standard hours of work will be required to meet significant operational workload across the group, e.g. Incidents or complex releases into the live environment.
Skills & Experience required:
-Previous experience of working in a specific Service Reporting role - suitable to a FTSE100 business.
-Ability to demonstrate experience of owning a bringing new releases into the live production environment and own the full life cycle.
-Experience of working in an ITIL framework model.
