Experienced, Physically Fit & Able People with Lightweight Concrete & Grout knowledge. Must be able to drive, knowing how to operate the concrete machines & equipment would be an advantage.

Our client based in Gravesend are a well-established family company who have been supplying foam concrete to the building sector covering the UK and parts of Northern Europe over the past 25 years. The Company has invested in unique equipment some being the only type in the country ranging from small foam generators trailers, 7.5 ton Roline pumps and a bespoke 10 meter long computerised batching trailer with 2 silo’s to complete varying size projects.

They are looking for people who are physically fit & have an understanding & experience with lightweight/foam concrete and grouts to help out on site & assist with concrete pours. An understanding of the concrete industry & how the machines work is essential.

They are laying out pipelines in access of 160 meters on their sites. This has to be manually carried & laid from the machines to the pouring sites so you must be extremely fit & able to carry out these duties.

The general duties would be:

*To lay out discharge pipelines from the machines to the pouring location.

*To back in tankers to load the free standing silos or truck mixers to the concrete pump.

*To take samples of the product for testing.

*After the completion of the pour, to help wash and pack away the pipeline prior to leaving site.

* General site duties, maunual, heavy lifting

They do supply material across the whole of the UK and sometimes in to Europe. Whilst away the Company pays for hotel accommodation which includes breakfast and an additional £20 towards an evening meal.

You must be able to drive. A clean driving licence is required to drive company vehicles. You must have a valid CSCS Card.

Applicants need to be extremely fit due to lifting up pipelines and sometimes lifting of 25 kg bags of material for making grout.

You will be required to travel to their head office in Gravesend where you will then travel in a company transit van as a drivers mate to the site location, but you will need a driving license incase driving is required.

Average contracts run for approximately 2-3 weeks at a time so you must be flexible and available when required. The hours are Monday -Friday between 6 -10 hours a day. A day rate will be paid of £130 per day regardless how many hours are worked.
