Chalkwell require a PSV Mechanic who will work as part of a team and be responsible for routine inspections and maintenance of our company vehicles in accordance with our established company procedures.

They will be required to undertake duties such as:

- Running repairs
- Inspections
- MOT Preparation
- Servicing of vehicles

Vehicles include Volvo and Scania Coaches, as well as a varied fleet of buses like Dennis and Optare.

PCV or HGV Licence would be preferred but is not essential but applicants must have a driving licence with no more than 6 points to attend roadside.

The ideal candidate should have experience of working in this environment and hold relevant qualifications or experience.

Hours of work are

Monday to Friday
Early 0430 – 1330
Days 0730 - 1730

Saturday morning and on call are based on a rota
