We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Design Draughtsperson to join a highly successful manufacturing organisation in Ashford, Kent. Work amongst a strong Design team and deliver the best in quality and service.

The successful candidate will report directly into the design office manager, your key areas of responsibility will include producing manufacturing and installation drawings to various specifications, whilst meeting tight deadlines. You will be required to liaise with customers for site details and implement/assist with improving existing systems.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience of working within a busy design drawing office
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Be a strong problem solver
• Capable of working on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Package:
You will be rewarded with a salary between £20,000 - £28,000 depending on relevant experience. The working hours will be 9am – 5:30pm with a 45 minute lunch, Monday to Friday - 3 DAYS ONLY Naturally, we would like to expect that candidates will not clock watch and as and when required be flexible with working hours to meet deadlines.

OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL.
