Are you an adept administrator with a flair for organisation? Do you have experience in higher education and in particular of coordinating exams and assessments?

This is a great opportunity to become part of the Kent and Medway Medical School team, joining the Curriculum & Assessment Manager to administer all aspects of assessment, examination and the programme curriculum, and playing your part in ensuring a high-quality student experience for our students.

Responsible for setting up and organising the assessments that test students’ specific clinical skills, you will be an independent worker and able to use your initiative to solve problems as they arise; previous experience in a medical school is highly desirable but not essential.

As Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator you will:

undertake administration to support delivery of the medical curriculum and the student experience, including student induction and committee servicing
support the assessment and examination processes and provide advice to staff and students and maintain student, programme and assessment records
work with colleagues to develop teaching timetables and facilitate the smooth running of teaching
support administrative activities in relation to student placements
To succeed in this role you will have:

experience of working with administrative systems in higher education
experience of organising complex examinations and assessments
highly developed organisational and customer service skills
an ability to work on your own initiative, prioritising and managing time effectively
Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) opened to its first cohort of 108 pioneer students in September 2020.
