In this exciting and varied role, you will support the Recruitment and Events Manager to deliver a wide range of internal and external events to ensure the university successfully recruits undergraduate and postgraduate students. As part of a team of recruitment professionals, you will attend and deliver range of recruitment activities. Approximately 50% of your time will be in the office undertaking administrative and planning activity and 50% will be spent travelling to attending and organising events.

This role involves extensive travel, overnight stays and some evenings and weekend work; in return, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in a unique environment that offers excellent training, benefits and future prospects.

What will I be doing day to day?

act as an ambassador for the University, promoting the institution to prospective students, their families and teachers at recruitment events
provide specialist advice to prospective students and their families on a range of topics relating to applying and studying at University
work with teachers in schools and colleges and attend events such as UCAS fairs, school HE fairs and postgraduate education fairs
Create and deliver engaging and authentic content and presentations, webinars to prospective students and influencers
What are we looking for?

a degree or equivalent
demonstrable up to date knowledge of the University of Kent student experience, including an understanding of current issues surrounding undergraduate and postgraduate students, especially funding and recruitment
knowledge and understanding of recruitment, ideally gained in the Higher Education sector
a track record of delivering effective presentations
Willingness and ability to travel extensively, at regional, national and international level, including during unsocial hours to remote locations that may not be serviced by public transport.
Full clean driving licence and/or ability to travel across the country by own means
