Experienced Warehouse Assistant
Near Aylesford

Due to increasing workload my client, a leading manufacturing company, are looking for an experienced Warehouse Assistant to manage clients orders internationally.

Duties
*To take full responsibility for all the picking, packing and palletising for European orders
*Providing timescales and meeting deadlines for collection dates
*Providing weights and dimensions as needed
*Helping load/unload items onto carriers/containers
*Quality controlling and reporting any issues
*Helping maintain accurate stock levels, counting stock as required
*Communication with Customer Services/other departments as needed
*Providing assistance to other teams in busy periods
*Working as part of a team and doing other ad-hoc jobs as needed
*Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed

Requirements
*Previous picking and packing experience
*Export experience would be advantageous
*Very practical and able to lift heavy items
*Full UK driving license (essential)
*A forklift license would be a distinct benefit
*Excellent spelling, grammar and numeracy skills
*Good IT skills - Use of WMS, MRP/ERP would be ideal

7am-4.30pm Monday - Friday
Some paid over-time - would suit someone able to work additional hours as needed
