Do you have significant previous administrative experience in a busy and challenging environment? Are you seeking a part time role (21 hours per week)? If so this role, available until 31 July 2022, could be ideal.
The University of Kent is the lead institution for the Kent and Medway Collaborative Outreach Programme (KaMCOP) which is part of the national Uni Connect programme funded by the Office for Students. In this role you will have oversight of the financial administration of Kent’s KaMCOP delivery, as well as providing administrative support to the outreach programmes.
As Finance and Administration Assistant you will:
Oversee the institution’s share of the Uni Connect project budget on a day-to-day basis
Support the administration of the department’s KaMCOP programmes
Co-ordinate the appointment of ambassadors to KaMCOP programmes
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
Financial qualification or equivalent experience of budget management
Significant previous administrative experience in a busy and challenging environment
Knowledge and empathy with the issues surrounding widening participation and inclusiveness in Higher Education
Excellent IT skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
