Due to a period of impressive growth and expansion, my forward-thinking client based just outside Sittingbourne is looking to recruit a dynamic and well-educated Finance Assistant. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working to specific deadlines you will play a hugely important role in the continued success of this company.

This role will involve purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, balance sheet reconciliations, managing supplier payments and dealing with any queries.  A confident approach is essential with the ability to work on your own but also a willingness to offer solutions and improvements to the current systems.

It is imperative that you have strong Excel skills. You must be reliable, highly numerate and methodical in prioritising your workload. Previous experience is essential, as is the attitude to succeed and progress. The minimum requirement for this role is a candidate who is actively studying towards a accountancy qualification. There could be the opportunity for study support for the right candidate.
