We are looking for a marketing all-rounder to coordinate a range of digital and offline campaigns and events. This role will suit a team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
The main focus of the role is recruiting students to computing, engineering and mathematics courses. You will also help raise the overall profile of the Division of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. You will work closely with other teams across the Division and the University to support the Marketing Manager in ensuring that activity is aligned with Divisional strategy and follows University guidelines.
As Marketing and Recruitment Officer you will:
• Oversee the coordination of a wide range of internal and external activities, examples include Open Days, Clearing and research related events
• Ensure the Division’s publications, promotional copy and marketing materials are accurate, persuasive and comply with house style and brand
• Manage and create content for paid campaigns
• Manage the Division’s external listings, with the aim of encouraging and increasing student applications and promoting brand awareness
• Analyse and report on marketing and recruitment activity
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of marketing and recruitment
• Strong judgement and initiative with the ability to effectively interpret and apply policies and procedures
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to prioritise work (self and others) to ensure key deliverables are achieved on time and to required standards
• The ability to build positive working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues, visitors and prospective students
