Computing Teacher Job - January 2022 Start

Fed up with general supply? Want some consistency in your subject? Love Computing?

I am looking for a teacher of Computing for a job with a January start. This Computing teaching job would be perfect for someone able to teach at KS3 and KS4 but the successful candidate must be able to teach KS5 (A-Level). Unqualified candidates can be considered with good experience.

This teaching job is based in a secondary school in Canterbury, near to Ashford and Dover so would suit a candidate based in East Kent. The school has easy access by road and ample parking for teachers.

The successful Computing teacher will be required to teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 courses. You will be supported by a good head of department and a very active senior leadership team. Although you will work independently to deliver a varied and exciting curriculum of lessons you will have the opportunity to work with a HOD to prepare lessons. Rates of pay will reflect the fact that you are contributing to exam groups and to the wider curriculum within the school.

In order to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Sufficient subject knowledge to teach ICT / Computing at KS3, KS4 and KS5
Good classroom management rooted in thoughtful lesson planning and delivery
Effective differentiation techniques to tackle mixed ability classes
Innovative teaching style utilising a range of tools and media
Teamwork skills making you a valuable member of the teaching family
