Management Accountant, £40,000 - £50,000, Heathrow Airport, Global Logistics

A leading, global logistics company based in Heathrow Airport is looking to hire a new Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious brand among the logistics and travel industry - a rapidly growing organisation where you can influence real change, working out of smart, corporate offices with strong transport links. In this role, you will primarily focus on preparing monthly management packs, P&Ls, and variance analysis for multiple entities along with other taxation, statutory and audit responsibilities.

Your new role
As a Management Accountant, your duties will include:

* Preparing monthly management packs, consolidated P&Ls, and variance analysis for multiple entities
* Manage the audit process, liaising with external auditors
* Developing internal finance controls and improving processes where necessary
* Supporting the Financial Controller with preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasting
* Managing tax returns for each entity
* Working closely with the passionate Finance Director and Financial Controller on ad hoc projects

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as a Management Accountant here, you MUST be the following:

* A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc)
* Experienced as a management accountant
* Experienced in transportation/transactional industry (cargo and logistics, industrial services, manufacturing, etc)
* A proficient user of Excel and accounting systems
* Able to work to strict deadlines
