Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Salary: Competitive depending on experience.

A long established steel fabrication company is seeking an Assistant Manager for this highly interesting and varied position. As the Assistant Manager you will take responsibility in all aspects of running busy steel fabrication and engineering works involved in a variety of different industries.

Ideally, successful candidate will be from an engineering/fabrication background, and be experienced in estimating for a large cross section of bespoke fabrications, be able to produce and work from detailed engineering drawings, be proficient in procurement and able to converse technically with customers, visit sites when required.

Desirable but not essential:

Experience in CAD drawing and shop floor experience useful
