Motor Claims Handler, Kent

Barker Munro, the insurance recruitment specialists, is pleased to be working with this independent traditional insurance claims company who are currently looking to expand their claims function with the addition of a Motor claims handler.

As a Motor claims handler, you will handle notification of loss calls from policyholders regarding their motor claim, with particular emphasis on RTA and Liability claims. You will advise on the policy limits, issue relevant documentation, check the policy covers the claim itself and handle the full claim from start to finish whilst always negotiating costs for damages. You will liaise with surveyors and adjusters as well as the policyholder in order to manage the claims process and reach effective settlement of the claim.

A knowledge and background in handling RTA motor insurance claims is essential alongside any background of dealing and negotiating with Motor claims. You will be a fast worker, well organised, good with IT and have a desire to learn new areas of claims.
