Due to continued growth in our clients specialist area we are seeking applications from an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer. This opportunity to join at a time of planned growth in this business makes a unique option for an ambitious candidate.

The role will see the successful person supporting the business to deliver innovative and world leading solutions to a range of international business partners. Experience in an ISO 9001 accredited engineering company and compliance with CE marking and project management.

The successful applicant will hold a First Class Degree in a relevant engineering degree within an engineering field, You will have expert skills with 3D CAD systems, preferably Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks and be able to perform theoretical calculations and simulations.

Managing end to end projects with technical leadership of up to 4 engineers, and preparation of component and assembly design, 2D detailed engineering/manufacturing drawings with BOM and additional input from R&D, Analytical study and engineering judgement

This is a project orientated environment - with this role being involved in several projects at different stages of the design process and liaison across external client, supply chain, procurement, production teams will be necessary - so strong and effective communication skills will be expected. Along with this the demonstrable ability to manage timely completion of projects within an agreed budget.
