.Net Technical Lead needed to work for a leading Financial Services firm based on the outskirts of Maidstone.

The Technical Lead will take ownership of a legacy application for our Financial Services client playing a hands on role with the maintenance and redevelopment of various components to the application. The application is written predominantly in VB.net, that said our client is happy for newer components projects to be written in C#, .Net.

The Technical Lead will effectively be very hands on while also leading a team of five. There is plenty of scope for this team to grow so it is imperative that you can demonstrate experience of leading a team while at the same time taking technical ownership of your work.

For this Technical Lead role you will have experience with:

• .Net stack including, C#, VB.Net
• PowerShell
• Desktop and Web applications
• Web Services
• Design patterns
• Oracle and Oracle Forms
• Microsoft SQL Server
• K2 or other Workflow Solution
• Meridio, Micro Focus or other Document Management Solution
• AzureDevOps


The .Net Technical Lead will be working in an agile / scrum environment and be able to demonstrate where you have been a Technical Lead has been involved in managing code review, unit testing, coding standards, appropriate documentation, and continuous integration/delivery.

Our client is offering an incredibly good package for this role which includes a basic salary in the region of £80 - £90k + Discretionary Bonus.

In terms of working from home options post pandemic – our client is going to be looking at an average of 2 days a week in the office and 3 days working from home.
