We are looking to recruit and train an apprentice grounds person to work towards a Diploma in Sports Turf Management and Grounds.

This will provide the candidate with an opportunity to gain experience to learn the theory and practice of grounds keeping from trainers and senior management whilst working within a team environment with a hands on approach.

As part of the Grounds team you will assist in the maintenance and preparation of the playing surfaces, whilst undertaking general maintenance tasks and the use of tools and machinery.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday - 07:30am – 15:00pm (1 October – 31 March);
07:00am – 16:30pm (1 April – 30 September) with one hour unpaid lunch break.


The ideal candidate will have customer service skills; able to deal with both adults and children alike and a good attention to detail.
Ability to be highly motivated and to work alone as well as part of a team is essential to the role
