Would you like to help communities across Kent deliver the housing they need? If so we at Action with Communities in Rural Kent have a vacancy in our Rural and Community Housing Enabling Project, and would be keen to hear from you.

We are looking to recruit somebody with a Housing background, initially on a three-day per week basis (but there is potential for this to expand), to join our team. The hours worked can be flexible and spread over the week in agreement with the line manager. Within this role you will be expected to ideally have an understanding of the delivery of affordable housing including through community-led approaches and be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders. You must be able to travel across Kent, including occasional evening meetings and often to rural communities where public transport is limited. Travel expenses are paid and we operate a time off in lieu system so hours worked can be flexible. Training will be available. This post is based on a one year contract.
