Eurotunnel manages, maintains and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third party passenger and railfreight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency and respect for the environment.

You must be able to demonstrate your passion for pursuing a technical career path, display the expected company ethics, values and behaviours and be committed to becoming part of a fully integrated engineering team.

The apprenticeship will provide successful applicants with a City & Guilds qualification and industry specific work experience supported by our highly experienced Technicians and Engineers.

Individuals will need to express their talent for practical subjects, interest in learning how systems and equipment operate and most of all their commitment and enthusiasm to learn. As a minimum you must have GCSE’s at grade C or above in Maths, English and a Science or Technical subject.
