Salary: £28,882 - £36,102 per annum

Location: Mariner House, Dartford

We’re recruiting for an Operational Procurement Officer to join our Property Services Team in Dartford.

Entry Requirements:

A good understanding of contract law, construction technology and contract management
Sound knowledge of the Regulatory and Legal framework surrounding Section 20 consultation
Advanced use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Good analytical skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload
Experience of working in a customer focused environment dealing with the customers face to face and on the telephone
An understanding of financial statements, public procurement practice and accounting

What does an Operational Procurement Officer do?

You will manage procurement and Section 20 activity across the Property Services department, acting as the operational interface between the Property Services and Procurement departments.

You will work closely with our Procurement team to ensure the Property Services aspects of the Corporate contract register are kept up to date, with a view to ensuring that all procurement is planned and delivered effectively and on time. In addition, you will participate in tender evaluations, ensuring value for money is achieved whilst complying with statutory requirements and guidance.

By attending meetings with contractors as and when required you will provide advice on contracts as necessary and audit contractors KPI’s ensuring compliance.
