Start Date: ASAP

37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (Term-time only plus 3 weeks)

TSAT Grade C £16,500 - £18,500 per annum (pro-rata to £14,601 - £16,371 for the weeks stated)

We are looking to appoint a motivated Technology Technician to support the smooth running of the Technology Faculty at Goodwin Academy. The successful candidate will prepare teaching resources, maintain equipment to a high standard, and support teaching staff in lessons.

Your duties will involve maintenance of tools and equipment, organisation of equipment for lessons, keeping classrooms organised and free from hazards, and assisting staff within the Faculty in developing appropriate resources for teaching and learning, whilst ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are met.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Confidence in the use of IT equipment
Practical experience is desirable but not essential
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to self-motivate and use initiative
Ability to work as part of a team and individually
Experience of working with children and young people
Understanding of the educational system and current developments
