The role: You will be responsible for raising awareness of mental health and ensuring people know how to access support if they need it.

This is a new scheme Porchlight is running in partnership with Eastern Sheppey Big Local. You will be offering mental health & wellbeing training and awareness-raising sessions for individuals, local groups and organisations.

To do this, you will manage a group of volunteer mental health ambassadors. You will also develop relationships with local residents, healthcare providers and businesses (typically in the Eastchurch, Leysdown and Warden area).

This role requires:

Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to use your initiative to drive the scheme forward
Experience of developing a community project within a deprived area
Experience of managing volunteers
