This is an exciting opportunity to work with By the Bridge with Cambian; an independent and leading fostering organisation with a unique therapeutic approach, providing high quality foster care for children of all ages and abilities. We were judged ‘Outstanding’ in all areas of our latest inspection.

The role

We are seeking a creative, innovative and dynamic manager to assist with and develop our compliance and safeguarding service for one of the UK’s leading fostering organisations. Working closely with the Head of Compliance and Head of Safeguarding you will ensure the delivery of high quality safeguarding and compliance throughout the organisation via policy, procedure, quality assurance and audit. This role requires regular travel between our Central Services office in Sittingbourne, Kent and our UK regional offices in the North West, Midlands, South East and East Anglia, therefore the ability to drive and flexibility to travel is essential for this role, which may also require occasional overnight stays; a company car or car allowance will be provided.

You
You will be a qualified Social Worker currently registered with the HCPC with at least 3 years post qualifying experience in childcare social work. You will have experience of dealing with complex, regulated processes and a wide ranging knowledge of fostering and fostering legislation. Excellent understanding of the importance of safeguarding children and young people is paramount.

You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate confidence and leadership as you will be working with all stakeholders across the business. You will have good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be advantageous but is not essential.

The package
We offer a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience, a company car OR car allowance, a discretionary annual bonus, pension and private healthcare, life insurance, generous annual leave and a great working environment.
