Strode Park House is a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent. We are a nursing and residential home offering both long and short-term care for adults aged 18 and upwards.

As a Generic Bank Carer for Strode Park you will look after the day-to-day needs of our service users and students, whilst showing compassion, care and commitment to having a positive impact on their lives. You will work with a team of like-minded individuals, all with a desire to ensure that they are comfortable in their home. As this is a bank position, a flexible approach to work is required as you may be asked to work evening and weekend shifts, as well as during times of absence and sickness. You will also support the aims and objectives of the Foundation and play a full and active part in the community so that at all times this post, either directly or indirectly, is providing the highest standard of care to people who use our services.

You\'ll need the following skills and qualities:

o Have a strong interest in working in Adult care services and a desire to make a difference.
o Be honest, reliable and trustworthy.
o Be flexible to cover shifts when required.
o Must be able to commit to the working patterns within Strode Park to provide a minimum of 30 hours bank work a month.
o Able to clearly communicate with the service users.
o Be enthusiastic, caring, friendly and compassionate.
o Have a full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
