Do you have a high degree of personal initiative and enthusiasm to work on the Student Success (EDI) Project to evaluate and improve retention, achievement and progression across the undergraduate cohort? Do you have extensive experience of project work, contributing to short and long term projects?

If you have experience of monitoring and reporting on the progress of projects and possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, this could be the perfect role for you.

As Student Success Project Officer you will:

• provide executive and strategic support to the SECL's Student Success (EDI) project
• be responsible for the project co-ordination of Student Success interventions and activities
• support the effective monitoring and evaluation of plan activity and make recommendations for development
• provide and analyse data both from University sources as well as in-house questionnaires

To succeed in this role you will have:

• experience of designing and implementing academic interventions to enable student success
• a sound understanding of policies and frameworks relating to EDI in Higher Education
• experience of manipulating datasets and qualitative data analysis
• the proven ability to deliver developmental workshops and training

This role is offered on a full time basis for a fixed term period until 31 August 2020.
