DEMELZA PROVIDES SPECIALIST CARE AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH TERMINAL CONDITIONS AND THEIR LOVED ONES, ACROSS KENT, EAST SUSSEX AND SOUTH EAST LONDON.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced fundraiser to join our Trusts and Project Development Team to cover a period of maternity leave. You will be able to demonstrate your extensive working knowledge and experience of Trust Fundraising and work within the charity sector. This post will be on a temporary contract for a period of up to 12 months.

You will account manage a number of key mid-level charitable trusts, foundations, grant giving organisations and livery companies and be a representative of Demelza, maintaining our values at all times.

You will be an excellent communicator at all levels with a flair for innovative thinking around funding issues. You must demonstrate excellent writing and analytical skills as well as have previous experience of working with a relationship database.

A methodical approach to working with a high level of attention to detail is essential to this role. You will be required to work to tight deadlines and must show your ability to work on your own initiative.

Some travel will be required as part of this role.
