Are you a qualified Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist looking for a new challenge?

We seek a Moving and Handling Coordinator who will be responsible for implementing, delivering and evaluating a robust moving and handling training plan for the nurses, health care assistants and non-care staff.

You will be a certified moving and handling trainer and will belong to an accredited professional body and will update this membership as required. You will advise nurses and health care assistants on use of appropriate manual handling equipment, as well as giving advice and guidance on manual handling to non-care staff and volunteers

The role will involve maintaining up to date knowledge of the subject and using evidence based practice in decision making and risk assessing.

The role can be based at any of our three sites (Kent, South East London or East Sussex), however travel across sites will be required on a regular basis in order to provide training and to work alongside the care teams.
